- 5. After annealing, working on stage two of raising. A bit easier this time; I was able to use my regular raising hammer.
- 6. Done with stage two of raising. Looking much better this time. Ready to anneal again.
- 8.Fourth stage of raising completed.
- 7. Third stage of raising completed. To be annealed again.
- 9. After annealing. Lines drawn to indicate the separation between the hair and face.
- 10. The stake I used for the next step.
- 11. Using the stake in the previous picture and a straight-peen hammer to one side of the stake, creating a deep crease.
- 12. Progress comes in baby steps.
- 13. Changing the flat top of the head to a nice rounded dome.
- 14. Dome done.
- 15. Bending over where the chin will be.
- 16. Using the hydraulic press to push out the nose.
- 17. With the same stake in the nose, hammering the area around the nose.
- 18. With the stake shown in image #10, hammering on either side of the nose.
