15. Annealing again.

16. A slightly smaller ball stake for the next step.

17. Planishing the head on that stake.

18. Getting more curvature on the underside of the body.

19. Using a mallet to close it up.

20. Closing up the seam for the beak and head.

21. This is as far as it will close up at this point.

22. Silver-soldering the part of the seam that is closed up., then annealing the rest of it.

23. Squeezing it in a vise, with polyurethane blocks for protection.

24. Silver-soldering a little more of the seam.

25. More hammering to finally get the rest of the seam matched up and closed.

26. Silver-soldering the rest of the seam.

27. Forming the tail.

28. The tail having been formed, there is a little more of the seam that needs to be silver-soldered.
