30. Starting the last stage of planishing, working on the tail.
31. More final planishing. The more time spent on this, the smoother the surface.

34. Now, starting the vine. Here's the blank of 18 gauge copper, cut out and ready to start forming.
35. Starting the process, using a small wood V-block.
36. The whole length of it has been formed into a U curve.
37. The cylinder completed, the seam silver-soldered.
38. More leaves have been made, ready to add by inserting their stems in the holes in the main stem.
39. The leaves have been silver-soldered into place, the whole thing cleaned up and polished, and bent into a pleasing shape.
