4. After annealing again, using a snaky stake to close it up even more.

17. Cutting open the mouth with a jeweler's saw. After all, this is to be a teapot, so it has to have a spout.
19. Pushing down on the lip to curl it downward more and make more of an opening.
21. How it looks so far. You can see light shining through the mouth opening. He has no upper lip; this is a caricature after all.
20. Here the mouth has been silver-soldered some on both sides to limit the opening to the middle.
22. I have filled it up with microcrystalline wax (you cane see it, the brown filling up the mouth opening. I'm now starting the fine detailing using chasing tools.
