- 24. Silver-soldering a fin to the body.
- 23. All the planishing done, I have made a pair of pectoral fins, and drilled holes in the body to hold them in place.
- 22. Starting the final planishing.
- 21. Silver-soldering the two halves of the dorsal fin together. The slight mismatch made it easier to keep the solder where it belongs.
- 20. The first stage of silver-soldering done. It took five stages to get it all done.
- 19. Another special stake, made for the occasion, using it to finish up closing the nose end of the shark.
- 18. Using a special stake to flatten the dorsal fin and angle it up from the back.
- 17. Now that the mouth is done I can continue with forming the body and making the two sides meet on the back.
- 16. Both sets of teeth installed. This had to be done while there was still access to the inside.
