- 01. The first step was a clay model, which was dipped in hot Dip-Seal. The Dip-Seal coating was then cut and removed.
- 02. The Dip-Seal coating has been spread out in order to make a two-dimensional pattern.
- 03. The pattern was trace on paper, then cut out and traced on 16 gauge brass sheet.
- 04. Partially bent, and hammered on a sand bag.
- 05. Rounding the metal over on a special stake.

- 1. A blank of 16 gauge brass, with guidelines drawn on it.
- 1. Starting with an oval piece of annealed 16 gauge brass sheet for the head.
- 1. This is a scrap of 16 gauge brass, about 10" long, what was in between a few other rounded shapes that had been cut out for other projects. When I saw the shape it reminded me of a four-legged animal running.
- 1. Two squares marked off on a sheet of 20 gauge brass, ready to cut out. One (for the top of the pillow) is 1/2 inch larger than the other one.
